For me it was the second experience in this type of project, I can say that it exceeded my expectations, because the way we all got along was wonderful from my point of view, I can say that the activities were interesting and that I had to learn something from each of them, I really think that I developed my skill to socialize in English and that I made some friends with whom I will probably keep in touch in the future or we will definitely talk again and why not, maybe we'll meet again. Thanks for your time

My Erasmus experience
From the first day this project was perfect. All the activities and all the beautiful people that i meet in this project make me so  grateful that i has the posibility to parcitipate.
All the indoor and outdoor activities were good and fun.The comuncication with people was awesome and I am glad that I meet such nice people.
In conclusion if you have the opportunity to be in a project like Erasmus plus don't miss that chance.

This programme was my first one as an Erasmus+ participant, but not as a participant at such activities. I believe that, overall, the programme was successful in what it tried to do: inform the participants about a healthier lifestyle and allow them to spread their obtained knowledge when returning home, creating great connections between the participants and, particularly for me, offering a great first Erasmus+ experience. The location of the project was ok, it was well chosen and the accommodation was not lacking. The programme itself, with all its parts, learning sessions and practical activities was well developed and well applied. It allowed us to constantly work with people from other countries, with different points of view and different backgrounds, all in the hope that the working sessions and discussions will help us broaden our perspectives and knowledge.
I decided to express myself in the beginning using “overall”,  because, of course, perfection is a thing we strive for, but is not possible. In fact, all our little imperfections during our time in the project were also lessons for future reference.
The only thing I want to mention among these hiccups is the situation at the end, with the fitness activity. As I noticed, the best formula for scheduling the days, especially in this hot climate is an indoor activity followed by an outdoor one or the other way round, an outdoor activity followed by an indoor one. I believe that the situation could have been avoided if the schedule didn’t include 2 outdoor activities in the same day.
The coordinating team was easily approachable and they were there when needed. They took our ideas into consideration when the situation called for it and they were understanding.
As a conclusion, I believe the programme followed what it set itself up for and that the participants were offered a good experience.

During my Erasmus project, which lasted for 10 days, I had an enriching and delightful experience. The project involved a wide range of activities, both indoors and outdoors, which allowed us to learn and grow in various ways.
One of the most memorable aspects of the project was the day we had free to explore the area. We used this opportunity to discover the region and immerse ourselves in the local culture. Additionally, we had a cultural night where each team presented their country, sharing insights into its history and heritage.
The outdoor activities included sports, games, and even volunteering work. We also organized an informative campaign about Erasmus and the projects it offers. On the other hand, indoor activities, such as breaking the ice and the "Top Ten" activity at the beginning of each meeting, provided us with opportunities to gain new knowledge and foster stronger bonds among the diverse group of friends we made. I was particularly impressed with the project because it introduced me to friends from different countries and cultures, and it allowed us to explore Cyprus in depth, discovering more about its culture and traditions. This experience was both educational and fun, leaving me with lasting memories and a broader perspective on the world.

I took part in an international project for the first time, so everything was unusual for me but very interesting.
It was very interesting to meet new completely different people and cultures.
    English practice was very cool.
There were very fun and interesting events. all the participants turned from strangers to good friends during this Sunday.
It was a very busy, interesting, fun Sunday.
Thanks to the organizers for this event. 😊

First of all, I would like to note that this was my first experience of participating in the Erasmus program and this is the best event I have participated in in my entire life. It was a wonderful project in which I took part in various activities, for example, we worked both in national and mixed teams with other countries, so English was necessary, before this project my skills in this language were quite primitive, but now I can calmly express my thoughts. I was also afraid that I would not be able to communicate with other people, that is, that socialization would go badly, but it turned out the opposite with everything. During this project, there were a huge number of different activities both indoors energizers icebreakers exchanging useful information from various national teams and on the street, for example, organizing games and promoting Erasmus and a healthy lifestyle in society. At the end of this event, I received a lot of useful and valuable information that I will undoubtedly share with others and will use in my life constantly. Many thanks to the organizers for this opportunity.

The Erasmus+ project "Healthy Lifestyle for a Brighter Future" shines as a model of comprehensive education, emphasizing good interaction, diverse activities, and informal/non-formal learning. Its blend of engaging outdoor and indoor activities, coupled with allocated free time for beneficial pursuits, nurtures a holistic approach to well-being. The project's dynamic group activities foster essential life skills, promoting teamwork, leadership, and effective communication. By embracing these principles, the project not only educates but empowers participants, shaping resilient, empathetic individuals ready to create a healthier, brighter future for themselves and the world.

Yevhen (Ukraine)

Dear Neci team members,
First of all thank you for having me among you. I loved the connection between the team and how supportive you were to all team members.
I liked the activities I participated in and I observed how teams were working together some with more seriousness than the others. I heard some comments from participants like ' Why would I do that if I don' t have enough time or just place the titles on chatgpt and it will do it for us' and it's annoying to me as a teacher to see this deterioration of the young generations.
I wasn't aware of the discussions that were happening in the morning but I think one suggestion to improve their performance more as teams is to set high expectations for them and to give them feedback before applying the games /activities with the other teams. I observed the feedback done after applying the activities but I wasn't aware if any feedback was given at the early stages.
I believe it's good to have expectations written starting the first day where you mention behavior expectations, clothes expectations or proper shoes choice especially that most activities needed physical activities. I also think some posters about working in teams could be useful if they were around the venue so they have a constant reminder about the importance of the team or having a guest speaker who gives a talk at the beginning of the project about the importance of working in a team and provide them with some tips. All in all it was a great experience and an eye opener for me on many levels.

Amira (Cyprus)

The outdoor activities were very nice, I like every single one. We have the chance to observe the landscapes during doing  the tasks. Especially I like energy time, I enjoy it very much and have never played so many games! It was really fun!
I feel the influence of activities about teamworking and team building as well, and it was a very strong message to everyone.
We are grateful for organising the travelling to beautiful places during our day-off!
Thank you and wish you the prosperity!

Oleksandra (Ukraine)

Dear RESTART: Healthy Lifestyle for a Brighter Future Team,
I would like to express my gratitude for the engaging and challenging experience during the project. When I joined this program, my English proficiency was quite limited, and communication as well as teamwork posed a challenge. However, I managed to make significant progress in these areas through consistent effort.
The experience with the energy drinks was unique, and my favorite, "Lama," was not only amusing but also an intriguing discovery. It was something different and I believe it's worth repeating.
Regarding the activities, some were excellent while others were more demanding. For instance, creating more inclusive games was challenging, and the traveling for these activities was tiring and not always justified.
The art therapy in Moldova was effective, but the surrounding vehicles affected the atmosphere. The intercultural evenings were captivating, and the presentation of each country's cuisine and culture was impressive.
Outdoor activities were complicated for me as I'm not accustomed to sports, but I tried my best. Certain activities had a school-like aspect that made me feel uncomfortable, such as presentations and raising hands to answer.
As for the food, I faced some difficulties. I consumed less than usual and, overall, I wasn't completely satisfied except for the burger. However, the apartment was quite comfortable.
Appreciation for the coffee breaks and regular pauses - they were welcomed. The day off was productive and enjoyable.
I want to emphasize that this experience will be a significant point in my journey in the world of health and communication. Thank you for this opportunity and for the effort put into facilitating this remarkable project.

Mihaela (Moldova)

As a first time participant in this kind of a project I was surprised to find that I can easily interact with people without having a fear.Even if sometimes it was only through games.I ended up being friends with most of the partcipants. There were a lot of interesting activities both indoor and outdoor. They were smartly balances in a way that you can equally have enough both physical and logical activities.
Of a huge importance in this project were the differences between the cultures of the countries that participated however, despite those differences we all got very close to one another and conected through our similarities but also through our differences as well.

Anastasia (North Macedonia)

Between the 23rd and 31st of October 2023, I took part at this youth exchange.
For me the best moment was on the 25th at the activity organized by the Jordanian team. I personally really enjoyed all the games the proposed and how the moment went on. Some of the games I knew them but some of them I didn't know and I will use them in my daily work at school and at the NGO's with the teanagers and youngsters I have been working. In general I Iiked all the activities and this youth exchange offered me the chance to know new people and to discover new customs and traditions from other countries.
Thank you for the opportunity!
Greetings,
Ilie Nelu Cioată

I am Omar Alsallaj from Jordan, participating in the Erasmus Plus project for a healthy lifestyle was a fantastic experience. The outdoor activities were not only a great way to stay active but also filled with fun and laughter, making our journey towards a healthier lifestyle incredibly enjoyable.
The culture nights were a remarkable advantage of the program. They allowed us to explore the rich diversity of our group, sharing traditions and creating a sense of unity among us. It was an eye-opening experience that added depth to our quest for a healthier life.
The team-building activities were exceptionally effective. We learned the power of collaboration and mutual support in achieving our health goals. These activities strengthened our connections and created a supportive environment for everyone. I am grateful for this opportunity and the fun, cultural experiences, and effective team building it provided.

Omar (Jordan)

Erasmus Plus has undoubtedly been a fantastic program, fostering international collaboration and providing countless opportunities for personal and professional growth. The dedication of the team behind it is evident in the thoughtful organization of projects. However, in some instances, the choice of venue appeared somewhat dated, not fully reflecting the level of effort invested. It's essential for participants to maintain a professional image; some wearing home slippers may have detracted from the program's overall professionalism. To further attract participants, adhering to attire standards and sharing aesthetically pleasing photos would be beneficial. Additionally, while the rules are essential for a harmonious experience, not all participants followed them diligently. It's crucial to uphold these standards for everyone's benefit.
The energizers during the program were absolutely amazing, infusing our days with enthusiasm and energy. The well-structured timetable ensured that our days were efficiently organized, maximizing the value of our time. The activities were executed with the utmost professionalism, enhancing our overall experience. This positive atmosphere significantly contributed to our memorable experience.
A special thanks goes to the fantastic group coordinators, Kyriacos, Inga, Natalia, and Renos, who played a pivotal role in making this experience even better. Their exceptional listening skills, professionalism, and dedication were truly appreciated by all participants.
As a team leader I want to express my personal perspective on the effort I put into this project. It often felt like I was working harder than it might have appeared, especially when comparing my team's dedication to others. Some teams seemed to approach the project more casually, perhaps viewing it as just for fun. I believe that having clearer and more defined goals for everyone involved could have helped address this discrepancy. Unfortunately, I'm disappointed with the level of professionalism within my own organization, as it did not align with the high standards set by the coordinators.

Noor (Jordan)

"For me this intercultural exchange was a unique one. First of all for the first time I was part of a group where there were Macedonians, Jordanians and Cypriots. I was amazed at how easily we were able to find common ground and collaborate. Regarding the project agenda, it was beyond expectations, even though I participated in its creation. I just want to point out that the heat and adaptation to the temperature here did not allow me to always feel energetic and able to work at 100%.
It was a new experience to be a group leader, which was tiring at times, but interesting, because this way I was able to lay the foundations of leadership skills. In my opinion I managed to work effectively with my national group.
The activities within the project were interesting for me, but in some places it was difficult to focus on the process, and some things were repetitive, such as group work and the presentation of some products on a poster. It was very exhausting to do the same thing several times in a row on different subjects in different groups.
At the same time, I want to mention that the activity from which I had the highest expectations (hiking) was too simple and easy for me. I didn't feel it was enough for me to get out of my comfort zone and be able to learn new things.
Another thing to mention is the work on improving national games to be more inclusive. I learned different games from other countries and found out that we have many in common.
Thank for this opportunity to learn new things and to improve my competencies.

Vlad (Moldova)

This project was not only a great expirience ,it was also very informative and fun from the start .I got to know and get close with people from diffrenet countries and different cultures and learn about their way of Life.Even though we all come from diferent backgrounds,we all conect through various team building activities ,energisers ,games in the pool(or at the pool) ,debates and workshops. The greatest thing about this project was learning how to better take care of myself ,how to create healthier habitts that will lead to having healthier life which is equal to having a happier life.I learned how sports and physical activities can help with your mental health and how you can learn more things about yourself and be happier with who you are as a person.I will definetly remember this project and all the impact it had on me and I will implement every single thing I learned in my everyday Life.

Ana (North Macedonia)

Firstly, I want to say that I have mixed and conflicting feelings. I feel happy because I have made wonderful friends from several countries and I had a wonderful time with them while joining the activities and eating melas . I feel sad because I will miss everyone and playing games and events with them. Every beginning has an end. In conclusion, I want to thank the organizers for providing this wonderful opportunity. I look forward to participating many times. Thank you again to everyone for the beautiful memories that we will never forget.

Amar (Jordan )

Dears,
Participating in the Erasmus Plus youth exchange project, "RESTART: Healthy Lifestyle for a Brighter Future," was an eye-opening journey. It brought together people from different countries, and we discovered approaches to well-being. From the lively Intercultural Nights that celebrated diverse cultures to the Hiking Project that connected us with nature and local communities, every activity left a mark. We explored how dance, music, mental health, and nutrition are intertwined with our overall well-being in the presentations. Learning about the impactful work of nonprofit organizations through NGO presentations inspired us to make a difference in our communities. Team-building activities were not just fun but taught us valuable teamwork and communication skills. This project wasn't just about personal health but embracing diversity and creating a positive impact in the world. It was a step toward a brighter, healthier future for all, and I'm grateful for the experience.

Bojan (North Macedonia)

I had the privilege of participating in the Erasmus Plus project focused on a healthy lifestyle, and I must say it was an enriching experience. The outdoor activities were not only fun but also encouraged a more active and wholesome way of life. Playing games from different cultures added an exciting dimension to our journey towards better health. The culture nights were a highlight, allowing us to explore and appreciate the diversity of our group. It was a delightful way to learn about different traditions, and it emphasized the importance of cultural exchange in our pursuit of a healthier lifestyle. Furthermore, the ice-breaking games and energizers were incredibly effective in fostering a positive and collaborative atmosphere within the group. These activities were not only enjoyable but also helped us build strong connections and support each other in our commitment to a healthier life. Overall, this Erasmus Plus project provided an excellent platform for personal growth and promoting a healthy lifestyle, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to be part of it.

Arriving in Cyprus on 23rd of September, I really wasn’t expecting such an interesting and unique experience. I met a lot of different people, with different backgrounds, cultures and opinions, but we got the connection immediately.
I’ve learned a lot about the healthy lifestyle from the participants. I’ve also enjoyed every single energiser and activity we did. It was really gorgeous!
I’m grateful to all the people who participated in the organising this project! If I have an opportunity, I’ll definitely come back to remember all the beautiful and emotional memories that we’ve created!!
Best regards,
Ecaterina

From the beginning i wasn't expecting to have such a great time at this project. Sometimes i can be shy, i know it didn't looked like it, but thanks to everyone i felt very comfortable. Energizers were so fun to play, the activities were great, active and very fun to do. The balance between fun and seriousness was very good. Also sitting by the pool at the night with almost every participant helped me a lot. After every day that passed i felt more and more comfortable and connected to everyone.
Thank you for all this!

Hristaki (North Macedonia)

It was an amazing journey among clever and interesting people. It is not my first time in this kind of projects, but for sure was the first one made by erasmus+. There were a lot of interesting activites every single day, by this getting me more expirienced in non-formal education. I borrowed a lot of hints for how to plan activities efficient and how to take care about all the minuscule things that are not visible but are so important. I enjoyed every day of this project, every activity that was done. The most of all I liked energizers and the intercultural evenings. I don't know how organisers did in the previous projects, but this one was awesome. I also have a suggestion for the next projects. In my opinion the intercultural evenings have to be made every evening by only one country, in that case people will stay involved in activities as a big group for more time, it will make them get to know each other much better, and will make them more connected as a team as well.
